Provides up-to-date information on global Jewish affairs. Jerusalem Report - www.jrep.com English language, bi-monthly magazine's web site, published in Israel and distributed throughout the world. Includes features on the Middle East, the Jewish world, business, book reviews, etc. It does not provide "breaking news" headlines, but rather informative, analytical articles by a wide range of journalists. Shorashim of the Old City - www.shorashim.net An online tourist gift shop, this is the website for a gift store from the Old City of Jerusalem selling art, religious articles, jewelry, etc. The Israeli Partnership - www.israelexport.org This site lists the names of Israeli products sold in the USA by providing links to Israeli businesses (many of which have been hurt by the failing economy and drastic drop in tourism these past two years). Also... - When in the grocery store, look for brands like Elite, Telma, Osem, and Ahava beauty products. Even if you have to pay a few more dollars for Israeli olives or juice, do it! Ask the supermarket manager to order these items specifically. Home Depot and other stores have many made in Israel products - especially plastics. Let's all make an effort to support Israel. |
